• Authentication Data: When you sign in using Google, we receive basic profile information provided by Google (such as your name, email address, and profile picture). This is used strictly to create and secure your account across devices.
• Camera and Image Data: The app requires access to your device's camera to scan till slips and receipts. These images are securely transmitted to our backend to extract structured text.
• User Content: The extracted receipt data, along with the color-coded assignments you create, are stored securely in our cloud database so you can access your data across multiple devices.
• Subscription Information: If you upgrade to our premium subscription, your payment is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card details. We only receive an anonymous token from Google verifying your active subscription status.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used strictly for the following operational purposes:

• To extract text and line items from your scanned receipts using Artificial Intelligence.
• To synchronize your saved receipts and color assignments across your personal devices.
• To verify your subscription status and grant access to premium features.
• To provide customer support and troubleshoot technical issues.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We utilize industry-leading, secure infrastructure to power the app. Your data is processed by the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase & Google Cloud: Used for secure user authentication (Firebase Auth), database hosting (Cloud Firestore), and backend processing.
• Google Gemini / Vertex AI: Used to process the images of your receipts and accurately extract the text. Google does not use your private receipt images or extracted data to train their public AI models.
• Google Play Services: Used to securely handle all subscription transactions.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account information and saved receipts for as long as your account is active. You have the right to delete your data at any time.

• Account Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated receipt data directly from within the app's settings menu. Upon initiating deletion, your data is permanently removed from our active databases.

6. Security

We implement robust security measures to protect your information. All data transmitted between your device and our cloud servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, and stored data is encrypted at rest by our database provider.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document or via an in-app notification.
